In a cottage kitchen, Tillie Treadwell pours beeswax candles with crackling pine wicks and blends loose leaf teas by hand. Her extrait fragrances took over a decade to get right. Her books trace what lives in the spaces most people walk past without noticing, and her tarot work reads the cards as living conversation rather than fortune-telling.
Tillie Rose Treadwell is an American author, speaker, teacher, content creator, and paranormal experiencer whose story starts in infancy- nonhuman beings found her before words did. She runs Intermediary Arts from Lake Mary, Florida- born there, raised mostly in Ohio, and returned home as an adult- and most of her life has been spent in the place between places.. between rational inquiry and mystery, between the seen and the unseen, between what can be explained and what simply has to be lived through.
She has had personal encounters with what she fully believes to be nonhuman people.. the fae, the Glimmer Man, wild nightcrawlers, UFOs, and odd glitches in time that resist tidy explanations. Her co-authored nonfiction Weird Time: Exploring the Mysteries of Time and Space sits on the shelf next to fiction rooted in the same territory- Tales From the Rift and The Cat Knew Tarot, both drawn from real encounters reimagined as living stories. Her recurring column How I Met Your Monster, begun at Eerie Expeditions Magazine, now writes from its own desk on this site, and for Outer Limits Magazine she writes feature articles that range from haunted objects to the physics of time anomalies.
A former esoteric exorcist with the Catholic Church, she co-headed a paranormal investigation team that operated with the blessing of church leadership. Her renown as a gifted tarot interpreter, healer, and psychic has grown into working partnerships with celebrated doctors, Dr. Sue Whittaker among them, opening new paths in nutritional and medical care and helping carry proven quantum medical devices into the world.
Science has claimed a share of her as well. Researchers in neuroscience, human evolution, and genetic study have found unprecedented material in her neurodivergence, her porphyria, a newly classified brain chemistry, and an eye structure all her own- windows on the truly exotic that only a living subject could open. Her speaking and writing draw audiences into the extraordinary, from a life woven through the mundane, the miraculous, and the magiqal.
Her work now is documentation- writing down what she has seen and experienced in the place between places, because someone should, and because she was made for it.

Artemaeus is an experiencer in his own right, trained unconventionally in human psychology, evolutionary biology, and animal behavior- all of it feeds the practical eye he brings to the paranormal work he and Tillie do together.
The first night he met Tillie, his perception of the world cracked open. What she could see and do lifted the veil for him, and what followed was a leap of trust and an evolution of thought that kept asking more of him. Since then he has bumped into a faerie, met mimics, encountered dark presences, delivered messages from Egyptian gods in the dream realm, watched planetary movements that refused to behave, and more.
At home, extreme electrical events, strange scientific anomalies, apports and disappearing objects, time glitches, and the Mandela Effect are positively common events. That foray has reshaped his personality and beliefs, and expanded his understanding of psychology, reality, and life- enough to include nonhuman peoples and everything that lies past the edge of ordinary perception. These days he is the steadying presence at events, the one behind the camera on the Weird Walk Home YouTube channel, and the man you will sometimes catch holding a book with the particular pride of a husband whose wife wrote it. He believes the unknown holds many gifts, if we can learn to embrace them- and the unique messengers who carry them.
Tillie is available for podcast interviews, panel discussions, and on-camera segments. She speaks comfortably on paranormal investigation, exorcism, energetic healing, the documentation of nonhuman peoples, the physics of time anomalies, and her writing- fiction and scholarly nonfiction alike.
The Weird Walk Home, her YouTube channel co-hosted with Artemaeus, runs longer-form conversations with witnesses, researchers, and other practitioners. Pre-record and live formats both work, and she keeps a flexible schedule for the right conversation.
