Here are the places where my writing lives. Across all of them, the questions stay the same. Who walks alongside us? How does their language work? What does the unseen leave behind?
I write longer features for Outer Limits Magazine- pieces that take their time with a question and follow the evidence as far as it goes. Three are arriving across this year:
How I Met Your Monster is my weekly column. Each piece walks through one nonhuman person- cryptid, faerie, glitch in the night- and what showed up when they did. The column began its run at Eerie Expeditions Magazine- it keeps its own desk here in the house now, on a page of its own.
Conspiracy Journal is the strange news publication Timothy Green Beckley built and ran for decades. His family is reviving it, and I've been asked to contribute a monthly column- one strange news piece each month, written from my own vantage on the material.
Four times a year the counter becomes a bindery. Intermediary Magazine gathers a whole season between two covers- my own seasonal rituals, recipes for the table, true encounters with the neighbors most people never meet, paranormal travel, cutting-edge science, holiday mischief. Excerpts and previews stay free to browse on Facebook. Full editions live behind the Inner Table, in company with subscriber pricing on printed copies, early ordering on upcoming items, and a place at the front of the fulfillment queue.
Weird Time: Exploring the Mysteries of Time and Space is the co-authored nonfiction collection where my writing on time anomalies and folklore lives. Current and forthcoming contributions go up at the book's own site, where each month's Conspiracy Journal news piece will also appear.
